Uniform requirements:
Members are welcome to try out in comfortable gym clothes and socks. If they join, ladies please come to class wearing a black leotard (any design) and skirt. Pink, white, black or skin colour tights and black ballet shoes. Men can wear black loose pants and white T-shirt, with white socks and black ballet shoes.

Rising Stars 6 builds upon the technical foundation acquired in the Rising Stars 4-5 program, focusing on refining demi-pointe technique both at the barre and in center work. There is a strong emphasis on mastering pirouettes, executing grand allegro (big jumps), and developing pointe work.

Dancers in Rising Stars 6 will also have the opportunity to expand their repertoire by learning new skills in hip hop, acro, and contemporary dance. These additional styles provide a dynamic and versatile dimension to their training, allowing them to explore different movement qualities and develop a well-rounded dance vocabulary.

The tempo of the exercises increases, challenging dancers to perform with greater speed and precision. This fosters agility, musicality, and adaptability to different dance styles.

Choreography in Rising Stars 6 becomes more sophisticated, encouraging dancers to develop elaborate acting skills and express themselves through movement. The focus is on storytelling, enabling dancers to connect with the audience on a deeper level.

This program prepares dancers for auditions with professional companies, equipping them with the necessary technical proficiency, artistry, and versatility to stand out in a competitive dance industry. By mastering the techniques of ballet, including demi-pointe, pirouettes, grand allegro, and pointe work, as well as exploring new skills in hip hop, acro, and contemporary dance, dancers will be well-prepared to pursue their dreams and achieve success in their dance careers.

Expanding upon Steps 1 & 2, Step 3 aims to establish a solid foundation in both classical ballet and Contemporary dance by seamlessly blending technique, proper posture, precise body alignment, and musicality. All the exercises and dances are designed so that the kids use their imagination and have a lot of fun. Furthermore, at this stage, our primary objective is to enhance physical and cognitive comprehension, while simultaneously fostering flexibility and strength necessary for the rigorous training in classical ballet and contemporary dance.
