Welcome to the thrilling Rising Stars 1 program, the next level of ODA pre-professional training! Building upon their solid foundation in ballet and contemporary dance, students now take their skills to new heights. In ballet class, they commence their training at the barre, honing their technique and perfecting their form. Our comprehensive program also offers captivating classes in contemporary dance, where students explore more sophisticated choreography infused with acrobatic elements, creating breathtaking performances that push the boundaries of movement expression. In addition, hip hop classes become more technical, allowing students to delve deeper into intricate rhythms, precise footwork, and dynamic body isolations. With the inclusion of acrobatics and the enhanced technicality of hip hop, our program ensures a well-rounded dance education that nurtures talent and prepares students for the exciting future ahead in the world of dance.
Uniform requirements:
Ballet: Girls – Royal blue leotard with mesh skirt. Design to be purchased only from our supplier. Hair style: ballet bun. Boys – Tight white T-shirt, black hot pants. Ballet shoes and tights can be purchased at any ballet shop.
Hip Hop: ODA branded T-shirt and black hotpants. Hair style for girls: ponytail
Contemporary dance: Girls – Royal blue leotard, black hotpants, black socks. Hair style for girls: ponytail. Boys – ODA branded T-shirt, black hotpants, black socks.
Junior 1 acrobatics: Girls – Dark teal leotard and black hotpants. Design to be purchased only from our supplier. Hair style for girls: ponytail. Boys – ODA branded T-shirt and hotpants.
